Arrow Overhead Temp Gauge

I keep noticing that my overhead is usually 5 or so deg off, usually higher. Does anyone know where the sensor is to clean it. I have an 04.5 CTD.

To locate the outside temperature sensor:
Raise the hood. The sensor is located about six inches above the bumper and four inches to the left of the headlight assembly. You will notice the wire loom running to the sensor. There is no adjustment. If the truck has been running and then parked for a while the sensor may pick up a false reading from the hot engine but once the truck is moving again the sensor should read ok.

According to the manual it takes about five minutes to give you an accurate reading after it has been running and the truck is moving. You may need to calibrate the overhead if it is not reading correctly. Check the manual it tells you hoe to do it.
