Question Overhead Computer

A minor problem with the over head display.

The compass direction and outside temperature work fine. All other functions are zeroed out. No DTE, MPG readings ect. Any thoughts?????

I did not think the 99 had all that. Am I wrong again?

Going on no first hand experience, but I know my 98 only does temp and compass.

is your fuel gauge working? i looked at my 2001 and the haynes manuel says that the dta, mpg, and are controled by the cpu but uses data fron the speedo, and fuel sending unit to determine epa and dta. does not trouble shoot the problem you are having but it may be 1 or the 3 above. good luck.

The fuel gauge became stuck on full around two weeks ago. Since then, I filled her up twice and the fuel gauge is working again. I used to try and squeese as much fuel into the tank as possible. Maybe that's what finally caused the gauge to stick that one time. Could that have caused the over heard display to screw up? Can't even say if ti was wroking before the stuck gauge incident. I rarely looked at the other display functions.
