outdoor temp sensor

I was involved in a little bumper bender about a while back and my outside temp sensor quit work immediately after it happened. What do I need to do to fix this, was there a sensor that was damaged?

On a '97 the sensor is almost behind the the driver's side headlight, it's the only thing in this area that has wires going to it.

On the 96 It like infidel said...

It is on the radiator support. It is a small round black sensor that bolts right to the radiator support! It got two wires...

I've found the sensor, but it appears to be intact and all wires seem ok as well. I'm wondering if maybe the sensor got jarred or something internally.
