Out of camber - off-set ball joints
Out of camber - off-set ball joints
How on earth can the non-adjustable camper get out of adjustment? As far as I know the truck has not been in any accidents. But Dodge says I need off-set ball joints on the driver's side and can't explain it either.
Some years back I ran into a similar situation with the camber on our Jeep CJ-7. Turns out the after-market has been making off-set ball joint bushings for just this purpose for a while. Since these axles are using cast parts for the steering knuckles and ball joints to attach to they aren't extremely precise in locating the holes there's more than a slight chance the camber can be off what it should be. These off-set bushings are just the thing to bring the camber into spec. I don't know what they cost nowadays but it wasn't too expensive to have them installed back when the Jeep needed them. I'd say have them installed - I'm sure your tires will like the change.
