Ok guys need opinions

I wanted to do something a little different with my truck so 4 months ago I decided I wanted to make it completely black. I have got it down to just some small details and originally the plans was to line-x the nerf bars when i do my rockers, but now I'm thinking a little chrome never hurt anything. So with that being said I'd like to know what you all think. To line-x or not to line-x the nerf bars?

I vote Line-X. I may be biased, my truck's completely black, only chrome on it is the aluminum wheels and auxiliary tank/toolbox.

Line X it. My steps are, Not only does it look good but helps with slippage to. I have found that to be handy several times. But yeah definetly it will make the truck look even better

I vote Line-x, too. I LOVE the blacked-out look-- it's timelessly cool.

Speaking of....how much is it going to run you to line-x those nerf bars?

How about rockers?

I'm really wanting to do this.

I've been shopping around on the line-x one place made my heart stop beating for a minute. He quoted 1,200. to do the bed and rockers and bumpers. I asked if that was everything including the nerf bars he said he forgot the bars and that it would prob run about 1,500.00. I could never have concieved it being that high! Thinking maybe 1,000. TOPS! Did some researching on the good ole computer and found this stuff www.rattleguard.com talked to a bodyshop friend of mine and he said he's done it before. I think I'm gonna try this route. He was very impressed with their product and is even considering franchising their product here locally! The best part is should only chime in about 200.00 dollars for everything of course with us doing Manuel Labor's job for him. We'll see how it goes... I don't mind being the guinea pig every once in a while esp if this stuff turns out like the samples we seen.
