anyone ever heard of someone putting in an np 205 behind a nv 4500 in a 2ndgen truck ? i have a first gen but that is one uglkey truck and the only thing stopping me from getting rid of it for a newer one is the nv 241 any touhgts ?? thanks

 

Any reason you fear the 241? Lots of guys running decent power through them without many failures. Not to mention a better low range.

 

sounds foolish to fear the 241. I had my old /98.5 offroad more than few times with more that 500 rwhp. never a whimper from the drivetrain. especially if you have a 241HD. everything is aluminum case now. you'll be stuck in the dark ages if you can't let the 205 go.
