Normal load on 3500
Normal load on 3500
My truck in sig hardly ever gets real HD use. So my question is...what do the service guys that run these trucks on a commercial basis put in their beds as a "daily" load or what do those three car wedge haulers...how much weight(on the average), is in the bed of the truck with that gooseneck?
I had a load of large round logs in my truck today. Seldom gets loaded up with anything. The helper springs weren't touching yet. Best guess of weight ~ 3000 pounds.

I havent hauled with my truck in a long time, but i pulled a triple axel trailer with 2 bobcats on it, i think the tounge weight was probably about 6000.
and i once put 2 pallets of sod in the bed, which was about 5500.
the truck drove, but i dont think it liked it.

I've had just over 2,000 lbs in the bed and the over loads were not touching. Last weekend I had, 2000 in the bed, with another 11,400 in the dump trailer behind it. You could tell it was there, but the old girl did not mind it. These are work trucks, a friend has a 04, 2500 GMC with the 6 liter and this thing out carries and out hauls it any day of the week. The gmc sure rides nice though.
