Angry No reverse lights

Well since I have owned my truck the reverse lights have rarely functioned. I have seen them come on once or twice before. Before I purchased the truck it had been hit in the LR quarter and looked likes some of the wiring was redone. I double checked it and it looks fine.

Any suggestions?

Had the same problem with my truck. It was the neutral safety switch in the tranny. I put a new one in and back up lights started working. Very easy to do. Took all of about 5 minutes.

It could be a linkage adjustment issue. If it's out of adjustment, the lights won't work either.

What linkage and how do you adjust it???? My backup lights work now and then also. It seems they work when I pull a little harder when going into reverse...

Thanks
Rick

Mine work great. It's just that the light is so dim you don't know they are on. Wonder what Dodge thought I was going to see with them!!?
