I recently installed a new track bar from Napa and have found that my steering wanders less, but there is a clunk when I turn all the way to the left or right and the suspension flexes a little. Is there something I don't know about installing a track bar? I unbolted and pounded out the old one, an greased and bolted the new one on. I made sure bolt connections were free of dirt and everything else was clean on the mating surfaces?

The truck is an 01 2500

Check to see if the bolts that mount are tight, if they are loose it may cause the clunk.

 

That bolt on the axle end takes an insane amount of torque.

Mine did the same thing because the frame side nut was not tight enough. It smashes that rubber boot pretty good but it was still loose. Now when it starts to clunk I just get my 22mm and tighten it down a bit. Eventually I will run out of threads.
