I just got my truck back from getting a new dash put in. They used the wiring harness that came on the replacement (used) dash. I now have 2 problems so far:

1: ABS and BRAKE light will not shut off

2: I have no bottom end in the sound. The tweeters are the only part that work.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Shop and insurance company certainly going to hear from me on Friday.

Find some gravel and stomp the brakes.. chances are your ABS isn't functional.

 

It was before they ripped the dash out..... any idea what they would have screwed up in the process?

 

Harness plug could be damaged. One of the tabs could be bent or the wire could be pulled out of connector. Same goes for the radio. If they got the dash/harness out of a junk yard, chance are they just ripped it out of the donor truck. Just a thought.

yea tye, I have a feeling they may have done something like that..... Time to round up the DTR mafia and go see if we cant get a solution to this......

 

There is an amp ground wire behind the radio usually black/green that ataches to your radios chasis. This will turn your woofers on. pm for mo.

 

Does your cruise control work? I had a problem with the airbag light and no cruise and it was the clockspring in the steering wheel.
