Need help with interior wiring bug

My buddy has a 98 24v with all power options, but his radio, interior light, overhead console stopped working. His power windows, locks, dahs lights, headlights, running lights, brake lights etc all work, even the green back lighting in the radio works, just not the radio itself.

The big kicker is when I was going to let him try my smarty...there is no power to the ecm/OBDII port with the key on or off, yet the truck starts and runs fine. I just couldn't get it to power up or establish a connection with my smarty.

I have checked every single fuse both in the dash and under the hood...any ideas?

Did you check the fuses with a meter or visual? Some cars use the cigarette lighter or something similar to power the OBD-II connection. My bet is a blown fuse somewhere. First stop would be cigarette lighter or aux outlet.

Check the IOD fuse, should be #12 in the panel on the side of the dash.
