I don't really go by my fuel level gauge anymore. They're all wacky and inaccurate imo. Just fill up, drive, then fill up again to the same level and hand calculate your mpg. I usually fill up to where I can see the fuel in the filler tube. Diesel is blue these days. Never knew!

I know it's weird. It could be from the 2-stroke oil I added, but that was 3 tanks ago. I would think that all the oil would be gone or diluted to the point where you couldn't tell anymore. It was definitely blue though. If it was from the oil, good thing to know NOT to use red 2-stroke oil.

I transport the Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel for Citgo, and it definitely has a greenish cast to it, totally unlike the old gold colored LSD.

The ULSD is a lot closer to Jet fuel than diesel anymore.

The dually in my sig is my daily driver truck. Both trucks that I have have broken fuel gauges. I just fill up based on how far I have gone on the trip meter, and reset the trip meter every time I fill up. I get around 18-20MPG.

Fine with me .

dont worry about putting red 2 stoke oil in they check for red dye by the exhaust. they can detect it chemically. i found this out because the weight master(driving a 86 mack with a gravity bottom grain trailer) pull me over and tested me and tried to bust me for using it on the road... i was running Agro tags
