Map Sensor

What does unplugging the MAP sensor do on your dodge? I have an edge juice with attitude will it cause any problems on my 98.5, also do you just leave all four plugins unplugged? Also will it affect any idoit gauges or stuff in my edge?

You must a have a box of some kind on it like an edge box first. What it will do is give it full fuel at no boost and cause it to smoke alot more down low and even just revving it up will cause it to blow a big cloud out. It worked on my edge drag comp on my 01, but I don't what other boxes will do this too.

It will set a code, but no check engine light....you will need a scanner to clear it. If you have a scanner.....unplug the map sensor plug from the map sensor [1 plug] & that is it.
