Male to male brake line elbow

I need a 3/16 elbow to finish up this brake line job. I need to connect one male line to another male line with a 90 degree elbow and cant find one anywhere. Anyone know where I can get one. The only ones I can find are reducing elbows or elbows with compression fittings. I dont know how well compression fitings and brake lines go together? Doesnt seem right to me. Thanks.

I have never seen such an animal, not to say it does not exist. You may have to put a loop in one of the lines and make the other bend around for the 90 and then use a straight union to connect the flare fittings.

As for compression fittings? I have seen ASE certified mechanics use them in brake lines, but there is no way on gods green earth you would catch me doing that. I guess I am just too paranoid, but then again, I am still alive!

A hydraulic line shop will have what your looking for. OR possibly Napa, Carquest, etc. They usually have some brake fitting stuff.

OK thanks guys. Yeh I had a feeling that compression fittings weren't meant for brake lines. Funny how O'Reily's is more then happy to sell you them for brake lines. There is a hydraulic shop near work, I'll try them. If they don't have the elbow then I will get some unions and another short run and loop it. I was thinking of doing that but wasn't sure how a loop would do in a brake line. Plus a 90 elbow would make the job look more professional, but I'm getting desparate to get this truck on the road.

After spending weeks searching all the local stores and big online stores for a brake fitting, Fedhill had what I needed: http://www.fedhillusa.com/?page=home

If you look around at their fittings you might see something that might work.

I found something that worked. Now I just have to figure out why the brakesaresinking to thefloor. I bled them with my mighty vac so Im pretty sure I got all the air out. Every nowand then the abs light will come on when I press the pedal down fast. It stops good ou just haveto go all the wayto thefloor. Something isnt right though. Ill do a search here and see what I turn up. Anyone knows any links to this topic let me know. Thanks.
