major headlight problem
major headlight problem
Here are my simptoms...
My high beam indicator light stays on for dim and bright.
My High beam is equal to most low beams, and my low beam is just barely noticeable.
My foglights only work when the headlights are off.
All of this started when I took of the wiring harness of the snowplow. Ive been over every ground I can find, changed the headlight switch and the turn signal switch, checked every fuse, and can't find anything wrong. I'm going to see if I can get the harness back and see if that fixes the problem, maybe I took one to many relays off?
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jesse

Would only be a guess, but I would think you either lost a ground or had a short in a bulb or in the socket.
The symptoms sound like a circut tying to find the closest ground. Even if that's through a hot circut.

Another option would be to get the HD harness from LMC truck to rule out one side of the stock harness to there other.
