Looking at a new 99 3500

Gotta a local friend selling his fathers 99 3500. Have known him for years and takes good care of his equipment. 106K miles Manual 5 speed, 2 wheel drive, Fresh tires, One small dent, super nice interior, clean shiny paint. Seriously thinking up upgrading my current 2400. He's asking 16K, Kinda hard finding a clean low mileage truck. Any thoughts here? Thanks

If I was you I would jump on it as at least in the Virginia North Carolina South Carolina Georgia area that particular vehicle would be a whole lot more than that from what I have seen in the last six or eight months

Ended up buying it for 14K, up on the lift checking things out, greasing zerks, fluids, pressure washed, general PM. Drives really nice, just need to instal gauges and lift pump upgrade. Had great results using an Air dog on my 2500. Now to figure out what my old truck is worth. Price's seem pretty high right now

Thanks, currently have 5000+ miles on it. Seems to be a good truck, have done a few upgrades to it. Isopro gauges, Air Dog 4, S&B air box, Geno's trany coolers, Mag-tec Diff. cover, Drivers seat & cover, Edge and Smarty, and having a new Aluminum flat bed built from Highway products in Bend Or. This guy's going to be a keeper.
