A little help from my friends?

Hey fellers, I left Redding to see my Dad in Vacaville which is 3 hrs from my shop manuals On the way here (Dads house) my temp gauge needle started jumping up and down from 0 to normal and in between. My guess is a bad connection... Now if I only knew where to look Ideas please? Thanks much, Tim

For some reason the coolant temp sender connector comes loose way easier than any other connector on the entire truck.
Really easy to knock it loose just changing the fuel filter.

Thanks alot for your time! I do appreciate it. I brought my service manual to work today and found the sensor with a flashlight and inspection mirror, they hid the thing well. I removed and cleaned the connector and all is normal now Love this truck. Thanks again
