knife down defrost vent

knife down defrost vent

A small knife I had on the dash dropped through the defrost vent. Is there an easy way to retrieve it?

Try getting a long flexible magnet to stick down the vent. Maybe you could retrieve it without tearing everything apart.

Turn the fan on high and floor the throttle....

Just kidding, the magnet on a stick or piece of sturdy string thing and go fishin ....make sure the fan is off!!
