My AC worked great the last time I used it. My truck sat for about a week then I drove it a time or two without turning on the AC. Yesterday I turned it on and it wouldn't cool one bit. The fan works but not cooling. Where do I start?

The evaporator cores on our trucks are notorius for going out. I have been without the A/C for about two years now and will be going into the third shortly. I can live without it, but will replace it once the heater core finally takes a dive since they are both buried behind the dash.
