On the headliner, centered & right up near the windshield, there are 2 little map type lights. To turn them on & off , you push on the lenses.

Does anyone know how you gain access to those bulbs? Do the lenses just pop out or does that console have to come apart?

Remove the console, the bulbs should come out the back side. The wife had a 93 New Yorker, the console had to slide to unlatch it. I can't remember it it was toward the front or back.

Be careful of the plastic pieces that hold the push button lights. They break very easy.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a big dead moth in the left light. I made a feeble attempt to get the lense off but no go.

 

If I remember right in the sunglass holder part of the console there are two clips that you have to unhook (look in hole to see what way to bend clips to unhook). Once the rear end of the console is unhooked it slides forward too unhook (or back I can't remember) that is it. I have had it down about 4 times in the last 6 months, you would think I would remember this stuff

 

Wow, does my memery suck I just looked at my spare console and this is how to remove it ignore the above post.
1 Open remote holder and push forward on the two tabs next two the remote holder door hinges and pull down (not too far) on the front of the console.
2 Slide consoul back to unhook aft part of console
The rest you will be able to figure out.
