I'm in the process of replacing my evaporator, got the dash out and the whole 9 yards. I thought 01s didn't have the igntion "halo" light, but mine does. However, it doesn't work. I cannot seem to get the bulb completely out. Has anyone replaced the bulb? How did you do it? I unsnapped the 3 tabs around the clear ring, but it won't get out of the way enough to get the bulb out.

 

I would like to know also as my 01 and a half has the halo but no light.

 

When Dodge was cost cutting they left in the halo and wiring but removed the module that controls it. The module activates a timer when the door is open.
Think this happened in about '98
