There was a prototype Dodge truck made years ago, which was 6 wheel drive- wasn't it called Tyranosaurus Rex, or something like that?

T-rex used rockwell axles. They have a rear pinion output and are easy to link together for multiple drive axles. This will take some trickery to get both rears driven. Not impossible, just not easy.

In the picture that Ed posted, it looks like 3/4 ton axles in the back. I even see two sway bars. Rockwells would definitely be easier for the driveshaft issues, but height would become one I would think.

The pics that ed posted may be a prototype, I have no idea either way. This is the truck that killed top truck challenge when it was built. Too bad it doesnt have a diesel, the only thing missing.
