I got flattered this morning!!!

Had a guy begging to buy my truck this morning and said to just name my price. He said I had one of the cleanest 2gen he's seen. Thing about it, he actually has the money but I don't know if I could part with her. Worst case, I'd commandeer my wife's '03 and buy something new...and smaller. Heck she's already backed into a mailbox and scraped a fence latch down the side of her's.

Cool, feels good I bet. About the wife. I am so glad I have a stick and my wife cannot drive mine. She has an expensive sedan. She may as wall have a 63 Dodge Valiant for all the pride she takes in it. Looks like gypsies live in it at times. I got flattered the other night in my truck too. 2 guys in a 911 turbo slowed down, as they passed me, and driver leaned over and gave me a thumbs up, along with the passenger. Not as good as being offered cash money like you, but made me feel good. Don't sell it unless you have been entertaining the idea. My opinion anyway. Keep your baby, and your wife too.

Yeah... I would have cried like a little baby girl, and I would have had to take a couple days off of Lowes and the Marine Corps so I could drink the pain away... but, yeah. I would have given him the extra oil and filters for it, too!

Hey, man, I'll work on that thing for free (read: for beer), if you provide the parts. I'll drive it like I own it, too.

That's exactly what I told her, lol. And to make matters worse, she is a Michigan and Florida fan...i like Ohio state and Georgia. Between trucks and college football, usually ends up in silence. And she is pretty passionate about her vehicles, doesn't back down from arguin about trucks. I respect other automakers to a point, so it's usually a joking argument
