I have been having my brakes drag on my 01.5 Ram for a short while. I suspected the Hydrobooster, and so did the check on it. My question is am I supposed to feel it push my foot back pretty good, or just a tiny bit? I feel it drop after I start the engine, but no push back really. Thanks for the replys.

 

Anybody ever done the test for thier Hydrobooster?

 

What exactly is the test? If I have my foot on the brake firmly while starting, it drops and then kicks back just a bit as it starts.

 

That's the test I'm talking about. Mine drops some when I start the engine, but never feels like it kicks back.

Thanks for the replys. That's what I was wondering. My power steering fluid level is good, and looks clean. I just have dragging brakes after the truck is driven a while & warms up.
