Went to Mikes House of Turbos.....Mike Holmen...has the most crazy turbos......But I did some checking and the HX-40 did come in a water cooled version...Thats what the "G" stands for...

G=gas...as in Cng or Lng

Water cooled exhaust housings are common in marine applications. I always thought one would be nice on a heavy tow rig.

I just got one off my buddies 315 cummins marine. gonna put the compressor side onto my stock exhaust turbo.

I was thinking that too. I see water cooled housings every day on industrial CNG fired engines. Problem is my cooling system is already having problems with my engine mods as it is without adding more heat from the turbo housing.
Would be good in the winter though..

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. It kind of seems like a solution to a non-existent problem.
