How to remove inside door panel?

I'm trying to remove the drivers inside door panel and I see only 3 screws. One up by where the mirror control is supposed to be and two in the hand grab handle area. With those removed, I still can't get anything to happen. I'm sure there must be clips of some kind but I'd rather find out how to properly remove it first before I go and break something. So if anyone is knowledgeable in this area, thanks.

Go down to NAPA and get a panel removal tool (flat with a V-notch in the end) and some extra "pine cone" plastic clips.

Trust me, you want the panel removal tool on these trucks. I pulled my passenger door panel off without one, (carefully I might add) and broke off the mounting on the door for 3 of the clips. There's no fixing it either..

Once you get the tool, to find the clips, just stick a putty knife between the panel and the door and slide it along till it stops. There you have your clips. On my truck there were also two along the top edge, yours may be different as its a post-98.

Never had that problem with any other vehicles, but then, this truck is 9 years old too.

Yes definitely get the tool. I pulled mine off and broke parts of the door and now they don't stay on quite right.

Thanks for the input. Thats what I was affraid of. I thought it was to easy that they had a few screws showing for removal. Actually what I was trying to do is remove a small ding I just got in the door and I was going to tap it back out but now that I've been looking at it I'm sure the metal is double wall.
