Your EZ has boost fooling built in. If you put a j-hook or turnbuckle on the wastegate, you could get up to around 28-30#'s of boost probably. Just Search the site for j-hook and/or turnbuckle to find out more about them. There's been tons of discussion on here about them. BTW, 20#'s is about right for not having anything on the wastegate.

Is a j-hook or turn buckle going to keep my wastegate closed at all times or only close it partially? Is it a good idea to have the wastegate shut or nearly shut from either of those options? Or could that mess things up in the future?

J-hook holds it shut longer to build more boost. There is an adjustable one so you can regulate the amount of boost you want.
A turnbuckle holds it shut all of the time which shouldn't be a problem unless you do alot of mods to the point that ur pushin 45-50 psi all of the time, then it could be a problem, ur headgasket may not like you for it.

Available at any hardware store. I just use the 3/16" double hook. I think they are around 5"

Hooks to the gate arm up to the housing.

http://www.modsfortrucks.com/product...urbo%27&d=1094 Here's a link for the adjustable j-hook (link is for reference only). I've heard anywhere from 4-5" for the trunbuckle, I don't know for sure cause I've never used the turnbuckle. I use the j-hook pictured above. Maybe Fishin2Deep4u can get u set up with a j-hook, or get the turnbuckle from a hardware store, Lowes or Home Depot should have them too.

I don;t carry any of the hooks. I was suggesting the hardware store option.

I ran one for a few years and now it's on my dad's truck. It cost under $5 and I thought I had the wrong thing. I think it cam from Ace Hardware.

Worked great and still going strong.

I appreciate it.

I like to try to pass on the cheap tips I have been given over the years. I am like everyone else, I want the best bang for the buck.

While I am glad to take your money, I am even happier to help someone out as much as I have been helped over the years.

Thanks again.
