How to get horn chirp?

Wrong! A horn chirp does not insure that the doors are locked. The system could malfunction. The only way to know the truck is secure is to observe the door buttons go down or to hear the locking mechanism actuate. If you depend on the chirp you could find out months after a malfunction that you've been chirping and not locking.

I noticed on my 01 when i deactivated the horn chirp i now have to press the unlock button twice to unlock the doors with the remote. When you click the button once the lights turn on and the second click unlocks the door.
