Here's an odd one....

Truck starts fine in Park. Start it in neutral, and it pops the 20A fuse for the starter relay. No other variables seem to come into play. This doesn't make sense because the fuse is on the low amp side of the relay, and the NS sw is on the high side. My theory is the relay is bad, but low ambient temps are stalling my research.

Or........there are wires touching ground near part of the base of the column that turns when you put it in neutral..........? If the relay were bad, It would be bad. Have to look at other things. The jumper wire for automatics too? Yellow wire/red tracer - two of them in a green connector. Also ....I seem to remember some wiring under the truck near the shifter linkage too. Found a corroded connection there more than once too!
