Hey Everyone.
I put a set of leather heated seats out of a 01 ram into my 96 ext cab ram this summer. just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram of the heated seats? like which wire is which? I have the power seats working just not the heated part yet. And the wife keeps saying how the leather in her truck is heated and her butt stays warm and in my truck the seats are always cold.

sorry I dont have a 96 wiring diagram to help you out, were there even heated seats available then? If you are looking for a diagram for the 01 I'll check when I get home and see if my haynes has a diagram for the seats. I would think though that it should be a pretty simple system, how many wires are on the seats for the heating elements? If it's just two per seat I would think you could simply wire hot and ground through a fuse and switch, or maybe with a relay depending on draw. I've got a seat heat retrofit kit coming for mine and I'll take a look at the directions and see how they recommend wiring it and let you know if that helps at all.
