Head Light Problem

Hey Guys,

First of all my 1998 headlights aern't very bright in general, wondering if there are any aftermarket solutions? The so called brighter bulbs don't mean anything.
My main problem is this,
When I have my low beams on and fog lights, everything works fine. When I go to switch to high beams the fog light go off which is normal. If I switch back low beams the fog lights will not come on? If I cycle the main headlight switch the fog lights will come back on.
I am suspecting there is some relay in there maybe not resetting?

Any help would be great, Thanks

ollie32,
I did the sport headlight conversion on my 98. It is great. You will have to trim some of the headlight bucket to make them work.
I also got the wiring harness kit from http://www.suvlights.com/index.php.
Makes all 4 of the lights stay on in low and high beam.

Yes there is a relay in the pdc. Try that first.

Put in some cheap eBay bi-xenon HIDs in mine. I love 'em. Did have issues with one that was DOA (they come from China), but got it resolved. They are extremely bright and even my blind eyes can see at night now. I've had them in for about 2 months now, no issues at all. I'm still waiting to see how long they last and hoping for a very long wait.

hi

for the fog light cure !

go to the right headlight and ermove connector from bulb .

then pull it up enough to work on it , may have to remove a plastic clip or two !
remove the white plastic thing at rear of plug .

slide a eyeglass scredriver in to remove the red and orange connector and the black connector and switch positions of these two connectors .
reinstall white clip .
connect to bulb .
now you got foglights that work !
it has to do with the switching of the ground .
my 98 had same prob and works perfect now !!!!

I, too, am very curious to hear some good suggestions for an easy fix to these poor headlights. Dodge didn't do us any favors with this design.
I like being able to see, just a pet-peeve , I guess.
