Right head light, left brake light...stopped working.

My brother has a 2004 3500 series cummins turbo diesel. He claims several times now his right regular headlight beam and left brake light have gone out at the same time. Its not the bulbs though. When he took it to Dodge, they said that some "head unit" that controls the lights burnt up. A new one was over $400, but it fixed the problem. A few weeks later, it happened again. He replaced this "head unit" -for lack an accurate term, twice now. And the same thing has happened again.

Is this happing to anyone else, or is my brother just the "lucky one"?

thanks, Dan

This sounds like the same thing that happen to my father-in-laws brand new 07 Dulley...he had it at the dealer for about a week. They ended up changing out the computer.
