H2 Wheels on 2nd Gen Dodges

Are there only certain years or model of the Hummer H2 wheels that will fit on these trucks? Do they have to be modified at all to get them to fit? I've seen some pictures & like the way they look....

What are guys doing for the center caps? I notice most of the H2 wheels have the Hummer logo on their center caps & wondered if they can be changed....Thanks for any help....

They look really nice on the 2 gens.

Lets see some pics if you get them sorted out.

which of the hummer wheels are you talking about, the 16.5 double beadlock H1 rims or the chrome 17s or whatever they are? I'd like to see how that looks myself as I have an itch to chance wheels but none of the ones I've seen appeal to me

there's a member on here JSPulliam21 that has some H2 wheels on his 98 and they look really nice....these aren't the chrome ones but i'm sure they would look pretty good too....I'm not sure exactualy what kind of lift he has on his but it's a pretty mean looking truck....here's the link to his photo gallery..

Craigslist - locally they come up now and again. There is a powder-coated (black) pair right now in Wilmington DE.

i found a guy in Atlanta selling a set of 5 in real good shape for about $500 + shipping.....Does $500 seem like a good price for a set of these? That about what you have found when looking?

Is the bolt pattern the same or do you need a spacer/ adapter?

Back in the day when they were flooding the market because everyone and their brother was buying an H2 and putting hammer wheels on them, I got a set for $400 with the friggin BFG's still mounted only 5000 miles.

No spacer needed. You do have to modify the center cap too. You have to remove about 3/4" off the plastic area that faces the wheel. Everything else is exactly the same as doing them for a third gen. I did an article here when I did mine...

Not heavy at all. They are aluminum, so they might be slightly heavier than the factory alloys, but much lighter than the stock steel wheels. My H2's with 285/70's are lighter than my steel wheels with 235/85 snow tires.

$400 with new tires included

wish i could find a deal like that...seems like the going rate right now is just about a $100 per rim.....still not bad i guess.

Couple 17" sets near me in Craigslist right now for between $300 and 1500 with and without tires... really tempted to pop for the $300 set but it's 2.5 hours away - up north here that's an eternity!
