has anyone had the hinges for the glove box break? if so are they part of the complete lower dash? thanks in advance

 

Hey Duner, sorry to tell you but the lower hinge is part of the complete dash assembly.

 

Now good luck with that replacement!!

 

dealer is replacing it under warranty. he refused to let me try and glue it back together.

 

I usually present the facts to the customer. A couple that have suffered this have actually chosen the epoxy route. That would be my first choice as rattles seem to appear after the whole dash assy has to be removed. On the bright side the three or so we've swapped have never came back with any related probs. It's a loooooong job thats for sure. See you in Vegas!!
