Garage Door opener ideas

Has anyone thought of anything to put in this spot other than the garage door opener? Mine rattles going down bumpy roads or with the music up loud and would be a nice location for some switches or warning lights, IMO.

If anyone's done some custom work here, please post up a picture! or anything with the overhead consol for that matter. Looking for ideas

I was thinking of mounting a gps up there and kind of moulding it to look like it should be there with fiberglass or something, but laziness got the better of me lol.

well i drilled a hole through mine so i could mount my CB there and all the wiring is tucked up into the headliner out of sight, then on the back side where your sunglasses are supposed to go i put up my cowboy hat rack. Then i just a got a little sunglasses clip that goes on the sun visor for my glasses.

All my switches are in the top center console between the two lights. I wouldnt put switches in the garage thing but thats personal taste. I think its a nice location though, its easy to get to, out of the way, hard to bump, and keeps the sleeper look ( nobody expects anything from a few small switches mounted up there) not to mention it makes your cab look like a cockpit! If you want the rattling to stop put a travel size pack of tissues up there, stops the rattling and, well, if you have a cold they are there! (or you could just put a garage door opener there, that takes the rattle away too.

As for pictures, I dont have any on my computer and I'm not around my truck until the weekend. I could get some if you want, but Its not much to look at.

I am trying to find a source for a digital multigauge to go there. Right now it holds toll money.
What I would like is something that has fuel pressure before and after the filter plus maybe boost, tranny temp...whatever I can get.
