Fuel Tank Module Swap Question

I am asking this for a guy who needs a replacement fuel tank module for his 98.5 diesel Ram. He has located a used 2002 module and needs to know if it is compatible to his truck. Many thanks for your help here.

I can't answer your question but does he really need a complete module?
If just the sender is the problem he can get one from the dealer for around $60.
If the lines are rusted out he can use one of these> http://www.vulcanperformance.com/Dra...shlo-p/dsi.htm

Those are about the only things that can go wrong with a module unless it's totally missing.

The 90 degree bends in the fuel lines at the module got hashed from corrosion. I can't physically see his project and therefore don't know the full extent of the situation but the draw straw might do the trick, Thanks for your help infidel!

Well if you don't have the intank pump, just get a Jeep Liberty one from the dealer, I would say its better then the factory unit.
