Fuel Sending Unit Part Number

What is the part number for a 2000 fuel sending unit module only. I have the FASS so I only need the module, but the dealers will not sell it separately (or can't find it.) First generation is 4797738 from what I gather. What is the Second generation part number. 4897497AA is called a leveling unit; is this what I need?

Confused are you simply trying to fix your fuel level gauge?

04897669AB is the current part number roughly 45 bucks at moparpartsamerica.com

I have a '99 which has an odd-ball sender used for only a year or two in 2nd gen Rams. Can't remember exactly which years used the odd sender, but make sure you get the right one. Even the counter guy at the Dodge dealer got it wrong and I had to return for the correct part. Mine was part number 4897669AB as patdaly mentions above. Yours might be the different newer part but just thought I'd let you know there are two different types.
