Vulcan bottom feed fitting

Eric, bottom feed sounds like a very good idea. What could a person expect from going to a bottom feed?

Well depending on the fuel level the pusher pump would always have fuel to it by virtue of gravity, no more drinking through a straw, esecially one that has about a 1/4 id. So all that pump has to do is push, no more drawing through that small line. I'll lower the pump a bit so as to take advantage of the fuel level in the tank as much as possible. I'll put an oversize line to the pump so there will be way more than enough supply and flow easily to the pump. The first fitting I made I tapped 1/2 NPT and I think i will run pipe under the tank and up to a shutoff then to a yet to be made prefilter since I will no longer have a screen in the tank (with 209k I might not have a screen anyway) then to 1/2 id fuel line all the way to the VP. I think it will take some of the load off the PP with it always having fuel fed to it.
