front end problems
front end problems
I changed a few things on my front end to stop the truck from drifting side to side, everyone i talked to said steering box, well i just put a 400 dollar red head steering box in and no change, any help, i need it its not that bad but it bothers me to have to keep correcting the truck to stay in the lane.
hi
90 % chance your track bar is bad .
dont waist your money on a replacment , get the 03 up bracket from ssi and get a o3 up track bar .
you will think it is a new truck ,and it holds up over time !

1st off you need to find a good alignment shop , let them find parts that are out of spec. , replace those [ yourself , to save money ] then ask if they will consider after market spec.s .
I have seen several links to this over the yrs. , check it out .
For some reason , I can not load those saved documents .
They used to be in Fritzs ram page , changed to Geno's garage , the TDR magazine had a right up about this , use some of those details to search .
