Front brakes?

They went metal- metal, I may have thrown a pad today? Never heard the sensors. What is everyone recomending for replacements. My last set were cryogenicaly treated and only lasted about a year 30.000 mi lots of heat cracks etc. Very expensive, Calipers were rebuilt etc. Are there any aftermarket replacements that are larger than stock?

I've had excellent results with Hawk HPS from www.tirerack.com
I would replace the rotors at the same time with Brembo brand from the same source. Turning them just isn't worth it.
