Found a 97 2500 4x4 ext cab with 90k on it. Only thing is its an auto, which im somewhat leary of, being a 5 spd guy
Is it even worth worrying about or should i jump on this truck? Thats a heck of a price as long as its not ragged and abused!

If it's clean yes! Plenty of auto performance options or look for a donor for 5 speed conversion, don't let it get away because it is auto, 97 is also emissions exempt safety inspection only.

What condition is the rest of the truck in? I agree- don't hesitate because of the auto. That can be fixed. But, if the truck has been neglected, or the body is rough, then I think $7900 is high. Don't get intoxicated by the low mileage. I'd rather buy a high mileage truck which has been cared for than a low mileage truck which has been ignored.
