Ford VS Chevy seats w/ integrated seat belts?

I'm thinking about trying to install either Chevy / GMC or Ford front seats with integrated seat belts to replace mine in a Quad Cab; current foam is deteriorating, belts don't retract that strong, and don't like the 'Skittle Puke' seat cover look...
I may have a lead on a pair of '03 Chevy seats that appear to be in good condition. Comparing the swap VS having a local upholstery shop re-do my seats.

Searching seems to indicate the few that have done this generally have done the Chevy / GMC seats but I also see some Ford seats have integrated belts.

- Anything need to be done to the belt lock feature that engages in a panic stop? Is this self-contained within the seat?
- What do I need to do for the electrical connection to kill the dash lite when buckling assuming I want to keep this functional as opposed to taking the bulb out?
- Chevy or Ford easy to retrofit? I don't have a welder so hope to accommodate by bolting up brackets as needed.
- Anyone ever also change out the rear seat of a QC?

BTW - plan on installing the seats only; currently have a wood fabricated center console and plan on re-doing that again anyway.

Thanks,
SA

I dont know, but I hope to find out. I have 250k on my leather seats and they are shot.....I was thinking about an air ride type seat, from a big truck....I think they have lots of aftermarket options.
