Fog light help

Has anyone added fog lights to their 1998 Ram CTD?? I want to but am getting conflicting information. I want to use Chrysler parts. The first part number that I have found is 82202452-for the 1994-1998-the dealer says it will not work with the CTD? The other number is 82225656-but I have been told it will not fit the 1998??

Different dealers say one will and the other won't, yet another dealer says the opposite??

I don't see why it couldn't be used on the CTD.

Which one? The 5656 number has a different switch and no one can tell me if it will plug in?

if i remember right . the 98 had a button on the dash next to the O/D off button right side from the steering wheel. i had fog lights on my 1998 v8 ram. dont see a problem or why it cant be used.. if all fails then just use the button lights etc. but run seperate wireing. only downside would be the lights would not go off with headlights/parking lights! but you could add a relay to the ignition switch

I can't say about your pt#s but the 98 fog light switch was in the piece where you turn the air bag for the passanger side off. The 99up it was made into the headlight switch.

So since my truck has air bags the switch will have no place to go?

No, both switches are on the same plastic piece. The fog light switch will be closer to the driver side.

Would it be possible for you to check my part numbers and tell me if the ones for the 94-97 will work?
