you can check out my homemade bed in my gallery. It's 9' with cut corners. I weigh in @ 9,200 lbs. I am sure this bed is way heavier than what you can buy from a manufacturer.

It was just a cheapie bed when I got it. I put the boxes on it and the rebiult the back, full skirted it, and all the lights.

Mine is still a work in progress. I am going to make the area under the sleeper a toolbox/fuel tank, new lights and some paint. I weighed in right at 8K before I made it a 4wd.

Here is a picture of the bed on my cummins, not sure of the manufacturer, because the bed was on there when I bought the truck, but it has a emblem plasma cut in the back that looks like it says AJM?

Also I put a couple pics of my old ford on here, it had a Gooseneck brand flatbed on it and I really liked it. It was a little heavy but was built extremely well in my opinion. I think the truck weighed in at like 9400lbs but it was an ext. cab 4X4 F-350 Cab Chassis so it was heavy to start with. Not sure on the weight of the dodge though? If you get one make sure you get on with a place to put some taillights in the headache rack, I put LEDS in both of my trucks and wont ever go back. They just improve peoples ability to see you and with all the stupid people on the road every little bit helps. Also wire you up some work lights on a seperate toggle switch up there, I originally had mine hooked to the reverse lights but then found my self leaving the key on and the truck in reverse, they help if you do anything at night, also come in handy if someone is tailgating you just flip em on for a second or so and they usually back off or get blinded, one of the two

Thanks guys I have been looking at a 96 12valve with a flatbed and I really like it, but don't see to many in my neck of the woods. I think I would love the utility aspect of it.
