headlight problems

well yesterday i turned on my high beams and then for about 2 sec. i had the high and low beams on @ the same time. so the light bulb popped. i replaced it to day and the new bulb isnt as bright as the other one...it glow orange. i dont know cause its a zeon or what ever ya call it bulb, its the same as the other one. i am getting 12v, and when i click it on high beam its more dim than the regular. also both of the filliaments (the high and low) are on. this thing got me, what yall think. i think i am gonna have to take this thing to the dodge place this time

maybe the relays screwed up, when i put in my sport lights i screwed up a couple relays and the lights were really dim and didn't work right. Put in new relays and it was fine

Relays should be under the hood, drivers side, in front of brake master cylinder, on top of wheel well, under squarish black plastic cover thing, behind battery. Any questions? Ha Ha that was a run on! Its late, sorry. Kurt
