Exclamation Drivers Side Mirror

Good morning.

I soon have to replace my drivers side power mirror and am wondering how to take off the mirror tilt adjustment toggle switch/lever. After this switch/lever has been removed, the rest should be fairly straigh forward.

Best regards

UM

You don't need to remove the switch from the door panel. You can remove the screw in the top, pry back the panel and remove the 3 nuts and unhook the harness into the mirror and pull it out. Or you can remove the door panel, which has two more screws in the pull handle in the door. Then just start working your way around popping out the christmas tree clips that go around the sides and the bottom. Lift up and out on the panel and out it comes. If you have manual windows, you will have to pull the crank off first, there is a little clip on the backside of it, press the the plastic washers into the door panel to expose it.

Many thanks for the feedback and I will have to give this a try over the weekend.
