Door compatability

I have a 99 regular cab , will doors off an older 2nd gen 1500 extended cab fit in their place ?

I'm not sure if they will work or not....But here is something I learned a month ago....Look at the bottom corner of the door that is at the cab location..You will notice that some 2nd gen dodges have a square corner and some have the round corner...I can't remember if our reg cabs has round or square corners..Check that before getting extended or quad cab doors..

Yep, so long as it is NOT a Quad Cab. Those doors are squared off at the bottom rear, regular and standard extended cabs are rounded.

BTW, if you find a set of rust free Quad cab doors for reasonable, you might grab them people are always looking for the around here.........

THe quad cab version has a rounded edge. The regular cab has a squared edge.

IIRC the club cab doors are the same as the regular cab doors. The quad cab doors will not fit a regular cab.

You have that backwards, the Quad cab is squared.
