Dodge Vs Tree!!!!

Well, I was backing out of a friend's shop and his dog ran behind me and instead of hitting the brakes I cut the wheel and my drivers side front fender hung a tree. The tree tore the fender up pretty good including the headlight and turn signal. I am going to get an estimate done on it Monday. How much should it run to replace the front left fender and headlight assembly?

with paint you are sorry to say going to crack a grand, unless you know a shop and go knockoff parts could get time consuming if the other panels/ hood are out of whac, I'd say he owes you a pup if that dog ever has puppies.

I would say the tree won for now... I am going back tonight with my chainsaw I figured it would be close to or over a grand. It only damaged the front left fender and the headlight/turn signal assembly. It did not damage the lights themselves, just the mounting bracket.

Just had a fender replaced on one of our 2001's at work. The cost was over $900. They said that most of the labor was that the inner fender is welded onto the outer so they had to drill out the spot welds, remove it, and weld it onto the new outer fender. After you add on any damage to the lights, you should easily go over a grand.

Maybe, just maybe, you could find a used fender in your color, and just bolt it on. It will probably come with inner fender, etc.

Have you tried turning it into your auto insuramce, or maybe your buddies homeowner insurance? It would be worth a call or two.

I got an estimate today... $1395 He is going to try and turn it in on his home owner's insurance. If that does not work then I will turn it in to progressive.

I just drove my quad off the front of my quad rack and now I have 1 million back windows. I recomend everyone tint theirs so it stays in one piece if this happens to you. It is half as much to put in a slider window so I'm upgrading and that's my good in the bad.

I just replaced the headlight, you can't get just the mounting it's all one piece. I payed $130.00 from Auto Zone and it is a nice replacement that just screws right into place. But after that I found the exect same light listed on ebay for about $35.00, listed the same brand name and everything.
