Different parking marker light problem....

Much like the rest of the other threads conserning this, my buds works in only one tiny position on the switch. The switch has been replaced with a new Mopar part, and the pigtail was replaced with the included pigtail in the headlight switch box. Still SAME problem. Only if you pull the switch out in VERY small increments the marker lights, dash lights work, in one spot, but go away in any other spot.

All fuses are fine, this did occur after pulling my trailer, (my trailer is not shorted.) There are some wiring issues that need to be delt with, and nothing of concern, but everything has worked fine to this point. Ideas?
Truck is a 96 2500 CC 5 speed 4x4 poor boy package.

I had a problem with mine that involved a short deep inside a wire bundle. The difference is that is kept blowing the tail light fuse. Just as you did I bought a new headlight switch because of the lights working in one small spot, and just as you have seen, that is not the problem. That is the way the switch is constructed. FYI, when that happens the current is coming from the headlight circuit and bypassing the tail light fuse. The first thing to do is make sure the fuse is good, they sometimes fail but look good. Behind the left tire, behind the fender liner are two wire bundle connectors. Disconnect those. One carries the power to the lights. Check for corrosion. Other than that the only thing I can think of is repair the "wiring issues" you have to see if they are related. Good luck
