For years it was cheaper than #2 diesel. I would buy four or five 35 pound containers of it and pour it into my aux. tank. A 35 pound container is almost 5 gallons. Sometimes then I'd be running about 80% soybean oil. But Costco (and others stores) eventually figured out that guys were doing that, and raised the price to where it now costs substantially more than #2 diesel. But it was a good deal while it lasted!
